Bigger, Better, Paper Chain Garland

Do you remember doing paper chains as a kid? This is pretty much the same thing only bigger and better. Right now many craft stores are having sales on their Christmas products. Find a pack of 12×12 Christmas card stock on sale or use a coupon to make a large, eye-catching decoration for the holidays.

The best parts about this project:

• Easy and fast
• Inexpensive
• Relatively durable (use card stock)
• Can look different depending on the papers you use

You can modify the project by cutting your paper strips slightly thicker or thinner. If you cut the strips thicker, be sure to have longer strips, or they will not be able to chain.

I use a stapler for this project, which makes it super fast.

Use double sided paper and/or two different styles. Alternate patterns between chain links.

Make it as long or short as you need!
