Make these fun little pocket animals! You can fit them in your pocket, and they have a pocket!
This project is fun because it uses crayons! Get the kids involved or use an inexpensive and easy-to-find supply to make this project.
To make transferring the image easier, you could try ironing freezer paper onto the back of your fabric to make it more stiff (waxy side against the fabric). You could then also run the fabric with freezer paper through your printer and print the templates directly onto the fabric! )If you do this, be sure to heat-set the ink after your print it- then simply remove the freezer paper from the back)

Or you can simply lay a piece of fabric over the template and trace through a light box as shown.
Once you have the outline images on your fabric, get creative with your crayons!! choose your favorite colors, mix colors for shading, and just have fun!
Heat-set the colored wax into the fabric, sew on a back, and stuff you fun little animal friend.
